The land was full of odds and ends With worn-out clothes that needed a mend, And bottles and papers and everything else, That nobody ever wanted for themselves Unwanted things were so many Things not worth a single penny They all reached here eventually To this land of unwanted lost things In moods and tempers and fits of bout Tiny trifles that man threw out From plastic and bottles and chocolate wrappers To batteries and peelings and used crackers Everything that was lost or unwanted Everything that man took for granted Found their way here eventually To this land of unwanted lost things |
