| Harry Potter and the Suspicious Girl
Not by J.K. Rowling, but by Amanda
Harry was once again back at the Dursley’s for another depressing summer. It was more depressing now then it had ever been for him because Sirious wasn’t going to be in his life anymore. He wished he could have done something to prevent his god father from dying, but he knew there was nothing he could do. It was very hard for Harry to cope with him being gone. After all, Sirious was the one person that actually loved Harry out of his family. The Dursley’s sure weren’t considered his family. They were just a bunch of gits anyway.
One morning Harry awoke bright an early because an owl flew into his room with a letter. At first Harry thought that it was the Daily Profit, but then he remembered that he had canceled the subscription after last term. He took the letter from the owl’s leg. It was from Hermione.
I hope you are trying to have a fun summer. I know it is really hard for you though. I’m writing this letter because there is something that I have been waiting to tell you for quite sometime now. I just didn’t ever get the nerve to tell you. I really like you. I have been having dreams about you every night ever since last year when we went in the three broomsticks. You are so wonderful and charismatic. You are amazing. When I first kissed you getting off the train two years ago, I started having feelings for you as more then just a best friend. I can’t wait to see you. I’ll find a way to get you to the burrow. Please send this owl back with a reply.
Harry read this letter through three times. As he sat and thought about what she wrote. He really did like her too. He was just afraid to tell her just as she was afraid to tell him. Harry wrote a response back to her.
I loved your letter. Yes, I certainly do like you too. I was also afraid to tell you. Let’s be a couple shall we?
I also can’t wait to see you. When I see you I’m going to throw my arms around you just like you always do when you see me!
P.S. I loved it when you kissed me too.
Harry got dressed and went downstairs for breakfast. He didn’t even bother to say hello to the Dursley’s because he knew they were going to ignore him anyway. Harry couldn’t wait to get out of there.
Harry wrote a letter to Ron to see how his summer was. Headwig was perched in her cage. She was as cute as ever.
“Take, this letter to Ron for me okay?” asked Harry.
Headwig nipped his ear affectionately.
She flew away.
The next morning Harry heard someone outside of his window. He was curious to know who it might be. He looked out the window.
“Harry, it’s me, Hermione!” she whispered.
“What are you doing here?” asked Harry.
“I’m rescuing you.” said Hermione in a hushed voice.
“Are you like my princess now?” asked Harry enthusiastically.
“Well, I guess when you put it like that!” said Hermione.
“That’s sweet of you to come all the way over here especially at this time of night.” Harry said affectionately.
“It’s all right, anything for my boyfriend and best friend!” said Hermione smiling.
“I’ll pack my stuff then!” said Harry.
“We better get going before the Dursley’s find out I’m here.” said Hermione quickly.
Harry crammed his things into his trunk. They headed for the burrow.
“Hermione, how are we going to get there?” asked Harry. “I mean, we can’t just apperate because we could get expelled.”
“I know I have a plan.” said Hermione.
“And your plan is?” asked Harry.
“We will fly on broomsticks.” said Hermione.
“I thought you were suggesting a horse and buggy!” said Harry with a laugh.
“I was thinking that, but then I decided that we should fly on broomsticks instead.”
They finally got to the burrow. When they got there, Mrs. Weasley threw her arms around them in a hug that almost knocked both Harry and Hermione over.
“Oh, I’m so happy to see you both!” said Mrs. Weasley excitedly.
“Were happy to see you too!” said Hermione.
“Where are the others?” asked Harry.
“They’ll be down in a minute.” said Mrs. Weasley.
Harry was really looking forward to spending the rest of the summer at the Weasley’s.
